Carrie Franklin
Carrie Franklin has worked in the dental field since 1997. Initially, she worked for a local oral surgeon until his retirement and performed both clinical and administrative duties. In January, 2000, Carrie successfully completed the training and received her certification as a Dental Radiographer. At Kyger Dental Associates, Carrie continues to be a very multi-talented part of the dental team as she provides both clinical care and administrative services to the practice. Also, she is the New Patient Coordinator at Kyger Dental Associates.
Carrie says, "Kyger Dental Associates, Inc. is a great work environment. Everyone supports one another in and out of the office. Dr. Tim and Dr. Billie Sue are professional, friendly and caring with their staff and patients. I hope to be a part of this dental team for many years to come."
Carrie spent the early part of her childhood growing up in Chauncey, Ohio and then moved to Gallia County.
Carrie resides in Gallipolis with her husband, James, and family. They have one son.

Kristie Kessel
Kristie Kessel has worked as a dental assistant for over 20 years. She received her certification as an Ohio Dental Assistant in 1997. She then went to The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2002 to take training as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant and is currently registered with the Ohio State Dental Board. In 2004, she also received her certification in Coronal Polishing. Additionally, Kris serves as our Invisalign Clinical Coordinator.
Kris says, "I have enjoyed the opportunity Kyger Dental Associates, Inc. has given me to expand my skills with EFDA, Coronal Polishing, and limited orthodontics. I enjoy my position on the dental team. I get to meet new people every day which I find very rewarding."
Kristie resides in Gallipolis, Ohio with her husband, Jeff. They have two daughters.

Beth Fisher
Beth Fisher has worked as a dental hygienist since 1982. She received her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from West Virginia Institute of Technology in 1982. She went on to further her education and has eighteen hours toward a degree in Health Service Administration. Beth joined Kyger Dental in 1996, and became the Hygiene Coordinator at Kyger Dental Associates in 2005.
Beth works full-time and is dedicated to helping her patients. Her personal dental mission is to continue to educate her patients and give them the best dental treatment available. She loves her job and being a dental hygienist. She feels blessed to work at such a progressive office and for such great employers. Beth states simply, "I love meeting people and have made some wonderful friends, both staff and patients. We have a dedicated staff that cares about all of our patients and we want to be the best we can be. I want to continue giving each patient quality care and time. I plan to keep up on continuing education and trying to always improve in my job performance."
Beth is an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she volunteers and is on the Council of Ministries. Also, she enjoys volunteering to help with her children's activities. Beth resides in Point Pleasant, West Virginia with her husband, Jeff, and two daughters.

Diana Ash
Diana Ash started working in the field of dentistry in March of 1983. She joined the Kyger Dental Team in May 1990. She received her certification as an Ohio Dental Assistant in 1994 and maintains her continuing education on an annual basis. Diana primarily works with Dr. Tim Kyger as his chairside dental assistant.
Diana enjoys her job and interacting with her patients. She states that she is always willing to learn new procedures in the office and enjoys working in our state of the art facility.
Diana resides in Rutland, Ohio with her husband, John.

Jennifer Dowler
Jennifer Dowler has worked as a dental hygienist since 1998 and joined the Kyger Dental Team in 2002. She received her dental hygiene degree in 1998 from Shawnee State University. She has spent her entire hygiene career working in Southeastern Ohio. Also, Jennifer has volunteered in many local schools giving oral hygiene instruction to children. Most recently, Jennifer has been giving vocational instruction to high school students.
Jennifer's wish is that all her patients have a pleasant, comfortable dental visit at Kyger Dental Associates, Inc. She enjoys her work and always has time to listen to her patients' needs.
Jennifer and her husband, Cliff, reside in Jackson, Ohio and have two sons, one daughter-in-law and a granddaughter.

Michelle Barnes
Michelle has worked as a dental assistant for over 18 years. Since 1991, she has worked at Kyger Dental Associates, primarily with Dr. Billie Sue Kyger, as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA). She received her certification as an Ohio Dental Assistant in 1994. With the support of her family and co-workers, Michelle attended the Ohio State University College of Dentistry for training as an EFDA in 1996. Additionally, in 2004, she was the first in the Buckeye State to receive a Coronal Polishing certification. In 2005, Michelle was promoted to Clinical Dental Assistant Manager and is responsible for overseeing day-to-day communications and activities of all dental assistants.
Michelle said, "Working for Kyger Dental Associates is a pleasure. We have a great team of doctors and staff. In the years that I have been employed with Kyger Dental Associates, I have only seen improvements to better serve our patients; such as new materials , the latest in equipment, and new technology. Our #1 focus is all about our patient care!"
Michelle resides in Gallipolis, Ohio with her husband, Deke, and family. The have three daughters.

Rita Wiseman
Rita Wiseman has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for over 30 years. Rita attended Rio Grande College for one year prior to receiving her Associate Degree of Applied Science from Shawnee State University. She has been with Kyger Dental Associates since her graduation.
Rita is very committed to her career in dental hygiene. She values her role as a prevention expert and makes patient education and timely information a top priority. She is gratified by the fact that public awareness and interest in oral health has become such an important aspect of overall health. Rita enjoys being part of an office that stays up to date with information and technology and has a high standard of patient care. After over 30 years, her co-workers and patients are her second family.
Rita and her husband are very active in the community and participate in the Community Improvement Corporation (CIC), Chamber of Commerce and Washington Elementary PTO. Also, Rita enjoys bicycling, boating, traveling and reading.
Rita resides in Gallipolis, Ohio with her husband, David, and family. They have two sons and two daughters.

Villa Webb
Villa Webb has worked as a dental hygienist since 1980. She received her dental hygiene degree in 1980 at Shawnee State University. She has worked at Fort Benjamin Harrison as a dental hygienist for three years and in public health, with special emphasis on dental sealants. Most currently, Villa has worked in private practice and in dental hygiene education.
Villa has always had a passion for dentistry. She finds gratification in helping her patients achieve optimum oral health. As a newcomer to our practice in January 2007, she has enjoyed the technology advancements of digital radiography and an electronic dental record.
Villa resides in Jackson, Ohio with her husband, Randy. They have a son.

Angie Guinther
Angie has been with the Kyger Dental team since June, 2005. Prior to her joining us, she had previously worked for four years as an Assistant Office Manager in a General Dentistry practice. Angie devotes a great deal of her time to educating patients about their insurance plans and benefits. She also manages patient co-payments and accounts and is our Finance Coordinator.
Angie enjoys tackling new projects at every opportunity and is proud to be a part of our family. When not working on improvements to the dental team, she enjoys time spent in the great outdoors on her Harley.
Angie lives in Gallipolis with her husband, G.E. and their 4 sons and 1 daughter, 1 daughter-in-law and one devoted Yorkie and one Black Lab.

Jeannie Wilson
Jeannie Wilson has worked in the dental profession since 1992. Jeannie currently serves as our Business Manager and Insurance Coordinator. In addition to her general duties, Jeannie updates staff on current policies and procedures as well as coordinating continuing education. In 2005, Jeannie worked side by side with Drs. Kyger in planning, installing, and implementing a paperless office practice management system. In 2006, Jeannie received a 4 year appointment to the American Dental Association's Dental Team Advisory Panel. She is also a reviewer for the online continuing education courses provided to dental professionals by the American Dental Association.
Jeannie's devotion to her work is complimented by her technical savvy, ability to problem solve and care for the needs of both patients and staff.
Jeannie is active in many community activities including volunteering at the Ariel Theatre, church choir, and plays euphonium in numerous musical groups around the tri-state area. Jeannie resides in Middleport, Ohio with her husband, Randy, one daughter and a miniature schnoodle.

Patti Wallen
A patient of Kyger Dental Associates for 16 years, Patti Wallen joined our staff in March of 2009. Born and raised in Akron, Ohio, Patti moved with her parents and sisters to Vinton, Ohio in 1984. She attended the University of Akron and the University of Rio Grande. Presently employed as our Scheduling Coordinator, Patti is the first person to greet you. Patti and her family attend church locally where Patti is a flautist with the choir. She has been involved in several volunteer organizations, presently 4-H, Ohio Valley Athletic Association, and the Gallia County Soccer Club.
Patti has been known to bring humor into her work experiences, feeling that laughter is the best medicine. "My transition into this new work environment has been such a pleasant experience for me, having known most of the Kyger Dental employees for several years. I am honored to work with Dr. Tim, Dr. Billie Sue, fellow employees, and I enjoy meeting and serving our patients."
Patti is married to a lifelong resident of Gallia County, Ed, and they have two sons.
